About Me

I am a Maryland Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, a Maryland Approved Supervisor in the Practice of Clinical Professional Counseling, and a National Certified Counselor with over fifteen years of experience providing mental health services to adults, adolescents, children, families, and couples in individual and/or group settings. I have worked in various community, church, and school-based locations assisting clients of cross-cultural backgrounds who are presented with different psychosocial, emotional, behavioral, and/or school-related problems.

I provide treatment for issues concerning depression, anxiety, trauma, grief/loss, anger management, domestic violence, self-esteem, stress management, as well as many other life challenges. I also specialize in cognitive therapy, behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness meditation, Christian counseling/coaching, couples counseling, family therapy, group therapy, life coaching, training programs, and teletherapy/online counseling.

I have a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Howard University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of the District of Columbia. 

I seek to provide a warm, supportive, and confidential environment in which individuals will feel free to express feelings and communicate concerns. I believe in recognizing and encouraging each client's potential for personal growth and change. Overall, my desire is to help them experience the joy of living well!
